LAS VEGAS (FOX5) –
Construction is set to start this summer on a new hotel that will be situated next to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The 125-room hotel will be branded by Starwood Hotels, which is also involved in the soon-to-be rechristening of a tower into the W Hotels at the SLS Las Vegas on the Strip.
Las Vegas-based CAI Investments announced the hotel’s construction at Speedway Boulevard, just south of Interstate 15. Construction is set for July and will last 12 to 14 months.
The hotel will also boast a restaurant and an outdoor pool.
CAI Investments expects to create 59 construction and 29 permanent jobs from the project.
